Windows get updated to Windows 8 today, so are we Galaxy Note user. I have downloaded it but have not upgrade my Note yet since today is our our  Eid al-Adha. XLS2 is Jelly Bean.

How to install
1. Make sure you are ROOTED ICS-ROM or JB-ROM
2. My recommendation you have PhilZ kernel (brickfree kernel)
3. Copy JB ROM to your USB-storage
4. Boot into Recovery
5. FullWipe (Format data/cache/dalvik). Do this before fashing the JB ROM and NOT after flashing!
6. Flash JB ROM. At the end of the process it will reboot
7. After reboot, immediately apply Fix Root issue below if your SuperSU fail to update binary.
DONE!

Bugs Fixes:
1. Fix Root issue: http://d-h.st/PJ1. Flash it via recovery with dalvik and cache wipes. If you have SuperSU binary update problem.

2. SMS Bugs Fix here
Delete secmms.apk and secmms.odex from system/app using any explorer like root browser and copy the above file and set permissions as (644)

Status Update:

• SMS-App (text now wont stay in input field anymore)-OK
• Settings (now shows SPen-option)-OK
• Root (now fully working - you might have to open SU app after flashing and update binaries)

Note:

• This ROM is complete Stock XXLS2 Samsung JellyBean. It is CWMflashable and rooted and it is smooth and stable!
• Since this is too early version (BETA), please refer to stock XLS2 or Rocket ROM (the same developer eybee) if you have any problem.

There is simplest way of rooting your STOCK ICS. No worry about YELLOW Triangle or Binary counter.

You just need to go to this page and find your firmware version.

For example XXLRT look for LRT. Firmware DDLR9, look for LR9

It has two versions.
1. Stock Recovery mode (Volume UP + Home + Power button), download "ZIP" file
2. PC ODIN  or Mobile ODIN mode, download ".tar.md5" file.

Note:
At the end of the process your GNote will be ROOTED + CWM installed.

What should I do?

Go to Settings > About 
Click on Software Update
Click on Update

You will be notify to download it via WiFi. Click on Download
Click on Install. New firmware will be installed and your phone will be rebooted.
After reboot. You will get this. N7000DXKK1.
N7000= Galaxy Note
DX=Malaysia
KK1=Version

New firmware. Previous firmware screen, click here

Once you download it, there are two files inside
1. N7000XXLA4_N7000OXALA4_N7000XXLA4_HOME.tar.md5
2. SS_DL.dll (Flash via ODIN Ignore this file)

Have CRC problem? This is what I did. Using IZArc I convert the "zip" file to "7z" file format.


Unzip "N7000XXLA4_N7000OXALA4_DBT.7z". You should be able to extract it :)

How to install it?

1. Run ODIN
2. Select TAR/MD5 file. See image below


3. Just fill in PDA. The rest leave it blank.... Connect your phone to PC and waits for COM Port connection.
4. Click [Start] button. Sit back and relax.
5. Once restart. Remove USB cable. DONE

Good News. Its a NO WIPE version. Your phone data and configuration just like before flashing it. No data or application restore required.

Get UPDATED!...

 Just follow the instruction on the link above. Thing to remember:
1. DISABLE LAGFIX
2. FACTORY RESET
3. RE-PARTITION checked at ODIN for stock JVQ
4. HOME+POWER+VOLUME UP: Load recovery mode
5. After boot convert to ext4 with the ext4 tool
6. Remove SIM card and external SD Card
7. DO NOT run arabic patch if you are not using Arabic keyboard.
8. DO NOT use 4-tab/MIUI lock. Might softboot your phone. Once you are in change it using EDT Tweaks

We do not have change log for the leaked version. You have to install and see by yourself. Is it better or worse... some guy after flashing report BAD and some guys report GOOD. Its the way you flash... CLEAN or over the TOP or TITANIUM BACKUP.. If you flash CLEAN you will get almost whats Samsung guys have at their LAB :)

My advice, lets wait for XXLSD since the OTA of XXLSD already on the hand of XDA members. Provided you have a stable JB on your current GNote.

Im still on eybee STOCK+DEODEX+ROOTED XXLSA stable version. If you are still on ICS, you might want to try XXLSC STOCK ODEX or XXLSC STOCK DEODEX
